The Pretenders have announced partnerships with several online companies to release their new record, Break Up the Concrete, in a one-MP3-per-week format. The first song to hit the 'net is "Boots of Chinese Plastic," available for free through Spinner.com and the Pretender's own page now.
Expect further tracks through QuickTime, ClearChannel.com, CMT.com, and iLike. Break Up the Concrete's CD version will hit stores in full on September 23.
