2006 Brit comedy eyed for stage
Although the film, originally released by Miramax in 2006, is a comedy with sparse musical moments, the producers feel they can explore the film's complex emotional moments and transform the movie into a musical fit for the stage. They're courting director Jerry Mitchell, who helmed Broadway's version of the hit comedy Legally Blonde.
